I HAVE to do better at this! Random Post

Ok so, I am sure no one reads this anymore since I have been so bad about updated it... I would like to say that I will try to do better, BUT we all know how that goes.

So I guess I should do a quick update, then I will try to come back and do some Searcy posts since there are not any. Poor baby. I promise we love him just as much ;)

We are currently awaiting our third child (which I think is a girl, Obed and Troy think boy and Searcy doesn't really care) We are due in May and can't wait for our family to grow.

I really need to get some new pictures posted on here ASAP!!!

Its been a while....

I am not very good at keeping this thing up, am I? I will try to update this week and put up some pictures of what little man has been doing since my last post.

Troys first visit to The Fair

We took Troy to the Fair on Sunday and I think he had a great time. Although, some other kid pushed him into a pole while they were petting the goats and he hit his head pretty bad.

One year well check up...

We were a little late having our one year well check because we were avioding all the sick babies at the doctor. Troy is doing great. He still hasn't hit 20 pounds yet, but really close at 19.8 and 30.5 inches tall. I will post some new pictures later.

I just thought this would be fun to do again since he has changed SO MUCH-

catch up again

Well we went from taking a few steps to a walking fool. He is all over the place. He looks so cute walking around and I can't believe he is already old enough to walk!!!!! He is also talking a little more now- his favorite word is still "ball" though. Sometimes I can get him to say mama, dada, duh (which is dog, we think) uh oh, and a few more....

We have been taking him to the football games, although he only stays until half-time. He loves it. Every time he notices the ball on the field he starts saying ball ball ball over and over.

sick little baby...and 1 year pictures...

On Sunday Obed and I took Troy to Talladega to get his picture made by Elana again (she does a great job) even with sick and fussy babies. My sister, Mandy also took her two children so we could have their pictures made together. Here are a few of them...

After we got back home Troy was really ill and fussy. On Monday he started running a high fever and it kept going up all week. It was a tough start to my first week back to work. He has a viral throat infection and Roseola- which makes him look awful. Poor baby. I hope he gets to feeling better soon.

We took Troy to the zoo Saturday since the weather was so pretty, Obed was at a football camp so he didn't get to go with us. It was the second time to the zoo for Troy and he enjoyed it a lot more this time around.

Where has the time gone???

For about the past week Troy has been going around saying a-oh all the time. It is so cute because he puckers up his lips when he says it. He has also said baba which is bottle. So I guess now we have four "words" mama, dadee, a-oh and baba-- but a-oh is the only one he will say on cue.  

He has also been taking 3-5 steps alone, it won't be long before he is walking! 

Fun with family and friends

We had a great week. My mom and grandmother came down to visit on Wednesday and stayed until Sat.  We had a lot of fun, I was glad for Troy to get to see them. On Friday Scott and Kelly came to stay with us for the weekend. Saturday we had a big cookout with family and friends at Gwen's house. It was a lot of fun and Troy got to see so many people! Oh yeah- Troy had his SIXTH haircut this week- now you can really see his face without all the hair in his eyes! I can't believe he has this much hair and that it grows so fast.
