We took Troy to the zoo Saturday since the weather was so pretty, Obed was at a football camp so he didn't get to go with us. It was the second time to the zoo for Troy and he enjoyed it a lot more this time around.

Where has the time gone???

For about the past week Troy has been going around saying a-oh all the time. It is so cute because he puckers up his lips when he says it. He has also said baba which is bottle. So I guess now we have four "words" mama, dadee, a-oh and baba-- but a-oh is the only one he will say on cue.  

He has also been taking 3-5 steps alone, it won't be long before he is walking! 

Fun with family and friends

We had a great week. My mom and grandmother came down to visit on Wednesday and stayed until Sat.  We had a lot of fun, I was glad for Troy to get to see them. On Friday Scott and Kelly came to stay with us for the weekend. Saturday we had a big cookout with family and friends at Gwen's house. It was a lot of fun and Troy got to see so many people! Oh yeah- Troy had his SIXTH haircut this week- now you can really see his face without all the hair in his eyes! I can't believe he has this much hair and that it grows so fast.

July 4th weekend...

We had a very busy weekend. Obed, Troy and I went to Huntsville on Friday to see Kelly and Scott. On Sat. we went to TN to Kelly's family reunion (Troy stayed in a hotel for the first time). They had a fishing tournament, bluegrass band, horseshoe and Hell tournament. It was a lot of fun even though Troy was really tired and a little fussy. We headed back to Huntsville on Sunday and stayed another night with Scott and Kelly then came back home today.

Sleeping in a different place every night really got to Troy he was up a lot all three nights. But now that we are home he seems back to his regular schedule. He went to sleep at 8 and hasn't gotten up yet (fingers crossed). We had a great weekend and look forward to Scott and Kelly coming to stay with us this weekend!

I noticed that I amnot in a single one of our pictures from this weekend, I need to start letting Obed take pictures as well or Troy is going think I was not around. HA

Trip to Talladega

Troy and I went to Talladega to visit my family this week. We had a great time but missed Daddy. Troy got to see MiMi, MacMac, MeeMaw, CaCa, aunt Manny, Pat, Cate and Tanner. He also got to see uncle Kyle, Katie and Rocky for a little bit (because he feel asleep early) It was Mandy's (my sister) birthday also. On Thursday we went to eat a the river with MiMi and MeeMaw. I posted a few pictures below. 

We are headed to Huntsville then to TN for the weekend with Scott and Kelly. We will be back on Monday (which is Mo's birthday) so I am sure I will have lots of pics to post. Happy 4th of July!
